BCC Pre-Season Schedule
Winter nets have concluded, the days are getting longer and weather is warming up so it’s time start thinking about where you stashed your whites last year in readiness for what promises to be another enjoyable summer of cricket at Beckenham.
A detailed list of all our planned pre-season activity for the rapidly approaching new season can be downloaded here.
2012 is another hugely important year for club with both the 1st and 2nd XIs stepping up a division and the third team looking to build on an excellent 2011. Attendance at winter nets was very good so it is important we build on that and train hard in the lead up to the season, ensuring we are well prepared for the first league games.
Our first outdoor session will be held next Thursday April 5th, and from then we will train each Tuesday and Thursday for the remainder of the season. There are also a number of friendly matches planned pre-season to ensure we are all in decent form come the start of the league season.
Finally, it was great to see so many new faces at Trinity nets over the winter and I look forward to seeing you all at our Foxgrove Road home soon. As always we are continually on the look out for new members, so if you have any friends who may be interested in a summers cricket please bring them along – all are welcome!
Here’s to a successful summer of cricket at Beckenham!
