BCC Club Open Day: April 17, 2011

Join us at the start of the 2011 cricket season, meet the team managers, coaches and the junior cricket committee.

The general idea for the day is to get the whole cricket section, including senior and junior members and their friends and families, together for a day of fun. The day coincides with the junior section registration day and because of this there will be free junior coaching for members and non members throughout the day and an Easter egg hunt for all of the kids under 15 that has been generously funded by Barclays Bank.

We will be opening our brand new net facility ready for the new season. If you haven't seen it yet let me tell you how good it looks. Hopefully the new nets will be a real boost to the whole section for the upcoming season and many more to follow.

We are also using this day to conduct our usual cricket force activities to improve our facilities at Foxgrove. It would be great if we could get a really good turn out for this so that we can get the club ready for the new season. More hands make light work so the more people we have the more we can get done and in a shorter space of time.

The bar will be open all day and Nick is running a BBQ from around lunchtime onwards. It has the potential to be a really good day but of course to achieve this we will need you all to turn up and show your support. Even if you don't want to come and paint come along and laugh at everyone that is, especially Mani trying to climb up a ladder! Let's try and kick the season off in style and celebrate everything that is good in the cricket section.

If anyone has any questions please just let me know. Otherwise I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 17th.
