Pre-Season Nets for 2012

It's that time of year again! The 2012 season kicks-off next week with the start of winter nets! These sessions will again be held at Trinity School and will run each Wednesday for 11 weeks.

As always 2012 is a hugely important year for club so it is important that we train hard during pre-season, to ensure we are well prepared to start the new season at the top of our game.

We are always on the look out for new members, so if you have any friends who may be interested in a summers cricket please bring them along – all are welcome!

Mega BBQ

The club is holding a 'Mega BBQ' this Saturday from 4:30-10pm. Chicken, burgers, ribs, sausages, coleslaw, baguettes and vegetarian alternatives. Pay as you eat.

From 12:30pm there will be a chance to watch the crucial 1st XI match between Beckenham & Canterbury where promotion to the Kent Premier League may be decided and possibly the Division 1 League title.

Come along and support the Club and help them to victory.

Cricket Week 2011

Cricket week is just around the corner so if you haven't already now is the time to start organising those days off to play a game of cricket.

The week kicks off on Monday August 1 and runs all week with 4 matches during the week against oppostion of varying strengths and a junior cricket day on the Wednesday. The fixtures are as follows;

Monday 1: The Stoics
11:30 / Match manager – Terry MacDowell

Tuesday 2: Kent Police
12:00 / Match manager – TBA

Wednesday 3: Junior Cricket Day

Thursday 4: Woodcutters
11:30 / Match manager – Graham Payne

Friday 5: MCC
11:30 / Match manager – Peter Wiseman

Please let either myself or the respective match managers know your availability for the week as soon as you can so we can start organising the teams and if you can't make it along to play any of the matches please come down to the club in the evenings and show your support!!
